You could also rip out the rear trunion and put a wood stock trunion in there and use a wood stock. Care to describe what you mean better? I Love the look of the AMD, but would prefer a Fixed stock or an underfolder or possibly a different side folding stock.

Everyone is entitled to my opinion. You know what would be awesome? Replace the rear trunion with a standard one with a cut tang and add the ace folder to it. In for a Penny, in for a Pound. The trunnion on the 65 with the wire stock is different and the rivet holes are in a different place than where they normally would be.

I know this as I bought the ACE stock, mount, flush trunnion, the reason its different is that the block that holds the stock also holds the recoil spring and guide rod. It's all one piece.

You can buy a regular recoil spring guide rod mount but then again you are going to have to drill holes into the receiver to get it to fit. I hope nobody else has to do the same thing I did or at least knowing what is up before one spends their hard earned money.
