Yes I had to factory reset all my phones. I had to do this so that I could get into them and manually configure them.

I used this to get the upgrades completed. You will need to run specific firmware on these phones to get them to function right with asterisk so I just ran this temporarily to get the firmware upgraded. The normal running state of the phone is to use the tftp server on the asterisk box that has the configuraiton file for the phones.
